I am looking (mostly) for used Shimpo wheels. The M- professional series or a Whisper model.
Any chance you can help me out?
Thanks in advance.

John,
That's a good question, and a bit tough to answer. You really have to do some digging to find a good used pottery wheel. Ebay and Craigslist are, of course the easiest first places to look, but the wheels pop up infrequently and go fast, so you have to check often.
The BEST WAY TO FIND WHEELS is to get to know some local potters through the local pottery studio or school. In every town there is someone, or in some cases, a dozen people, with a pottery wheel in their basement that is collecting dust.
Finally, I might suggest joining online pottery groups or forums where you can network with other potters who are selling them.
You did mention pottery wheel"s". Are you repairing them or reselling them? How many are you looking for?
Anyone reading this know of a stash of Shimpo wheels for sale? Please share!!
Thanks,
Steve
